Re: Poster's Pictures
Facebook time...Right lets bust out some of the golden oldies:
Right...click profile...pictures of me...party time
First things first...
Where's the beach?? (i'm on the right)
After tapas bar in't pub
And finally...Canoeing on Lake Derwentwater (Fell in the background is Catbells) (about 20 mins from where I live) On the canoeing picture...I'm on the right, with bright orange hair after failing miserably to dye my dark brown hair blonde on my own...

My housemate dyed his hair ginger as well, except I think he did it on purpose
Do you go canoeing often?
And did you know that Derwent Water isn't actually a lake? (Just like Windermere isn't "Lake Windermere" either )

Re: Poster's Pictures
I'm well aware of that fact Beithir The only "true" lake in the lake district is Bassenthwaite lake. We just happen to have a lot of "meres" and "waters" kicking around.
Why would you purposefully dye your hair ginger (no offence to ginger people or anything)? It was a hoot though, and I certainly attracted a lot of attention for a few months.
I tend to do more kayaking than canoeing, it just so happened that the whole family were off so we thought instead of doing our normal sunday hike, we would do something far more interested instead I tend to do a bit of rock climbing around there as well. The worst part about living near the lakes is the lack of snow (or accessible snow) during the winter...so you can't bust out the alpine skis and you have to do good old ski touring instead ( which is fun, but doesn't quite have the same adrenaline rush)

Re: Poster's Pictures
Ok, so apparently the 10th of July is now beatles day (yup, news to me too). Of course we all took this as an excuse to do a Sixties themed day at work, and get everyone dressed up.

I always thought that their colour was cerise... but on the other hand, cerise is pink. But pink is the colour of the CompSci department! I can't be associated with those nerds
We all know that there is only one true colour, and that is the most beautiful, most perfect, most golden colour of them all: chemistry yellow.
