If you have enough writers and the like available, and who are dedicated, then there is nothing to say that you can't be well ahead of schedule, which makes a monthly magazine much easier. But it all depends. As things stand, there are plenty of people available to work on the webmag.
This would mean that sometimes the mag would be after two or three weeks but it could also be 1.5 month in times of less inspiration or time.
Too random.

Nagathi, if you need another proofreader or editor you can count me. Believe it or not, proof-reading is part of my job. As a first test, would you like one of us to point out 5 mistakes in the posts on this thread? ;)

I'd need 72 hours to turn a document of 3,000 words around, but I'll guarantee a return during that period.

PM me if you need my services.

72 hours? Do you count the time you need to sleep inbetween? ;)

Sorry for being way off topic but that just baffled me.

3000 words is easy, really. It'd generally take about five to ten hours for me to go through it, shorter if it was a printed version, because reading computer screens gives you headaches after a long time of doing it (Sad as it may seem, I am still actually proud of being able to read Harry Potter book six in less than four hours...). Incidentally, what job do you have that means you proofread and edit? It sounds like a nice little job.

Sidenote: Were any of the mistakes in my posts, out of curiosity?

Yes, I do.

Obviously it won't take me 72 hours to review a document (unless it's really, really boring! ;) ) but I have other commitments (like work, and playing the game!). So what I'm saying is that if I'm sent an article I will return it, proofed and corrected, within 72 hours. 72 hours is a deadline I can work to without undue pressure. And setting a deadline means that everybody understands each other’s position.

We need it. And from the current people, I don't know who might be any good.

I'm not much of a webdesigner, so I don't really want a part of that. But I would love to contribute to this. I can:
- Proof-read (top scores in english, becoming an author or teacher)
- Write fluff (although it is usually short, as in 500-1000 words. Easy to digest in a few minutes.)
- Draw. (However my skills are rather... sketchy at the moment. I can do chibi comics etc. But I'm no good with deadlines.)
- Write Battle Reports (sorry, no pictures for them)
- Come up with random ideas and 'Unofficial' Rules
- Write articles on basing and painting
- Write articles on converting

Name Ideas:

- Forest's Call
- Nature Calls
- Call of Nature
- The Glade Gazette (my personal favorite)

I'll PM you some of my fluff.
Mal: Do you want to run this ship?
Jayne: Yes
Mal: Well... you... can't.

Well i currently have 2 comercial sites in use..... i can do webdesign if you need that kind of thing, it's not really an issue......

Admittedly recently i haven't had much time for anything other than painting (thats what comes of having 2000 pts of unpainted WE, 4500 pts of unpainted lizzies, 1500 pts of unpainted Legion of the Damned, offering to paint your mates 1500 pts army for a tourny, and your own 1500 pts eldar list for the same tourny......

Not to mention having 1000 pts of my legion of the damned list to be ready to go in white dwarf (i need to have that done by the 5th of november, so i'm expecting it to be in the january issue of WD :D)

I hope it's world wide, but i might just be in the UK one (Dunno if they are the same world wide....)
Here's the jig, you don't have to agree with what i say, you can tell me that you don't... Just don't expect me to care.

I know that the places are full up for fluff writers etc, but I would like to write something up, like, trying out new units we could invent from time to time (like the waterkin and stonekin), is there any chance?

I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to tell you without annoying Nagathi, but no, there is no "special" usergroup for us, nor is there a hidden forum on this site that we can access.

One moment. I'll see if I can fix that.

EDIT: Nope. You'll need to ask Nagathi or one of the other Racemasters if they could do it for you.

I think that i could actually find time and write something (mostly fluff, some trial rules or general articles). The problem is that I'm not entirely sure about my english when compared to native-speakers, so I should be contributing only if you have writer shortage. I should send you something by the end of the week, as well as have some battle reports after christmas.
