No amount of planning can ever replace dumb luck.
Re: Confirmed Rumors
Since the model looks very similar to the Eternal Guard plastics in the other pictures, and since he's next to a regular Glade Guard plastic model, I think we can assume he is the Eternal Guard unit champion, not a character model.Coyle_Ravane wrote:That's not the name of the character, that's the name of the area those models and banner come from. Re: Confirmed Rumors
I don't think they are EG in the other pic. They don't have spears or Searath, looks more like halberds or something, and since our spears are now ap, I'm expecting EG to have those. I think it's a new unit, alt build in the kit with EG.seanr wrote:Since the model looks very similar to the Eternal Guard plastics in the other pictures, and since he's next to a regular Glade Guard plastic model, I think we can assume he is the Eternal Guard unit champion, not a character model.Coyle_Ravane wrote:That's not the name of the character, that's the name of the area those models and banner come from. Re: Confirmed Rumors
I wouldn't put that dryads are now ranked because however they are ranked in the photo. I really just think they're grouped that way because it looks better in the photo.
I can 100% confirm that the two pages from the army book are real because I have the white dwarf in my hands and it is in the white dwarf. If you'd like I can take a photo

Re: Confirmed Rumors
The problem with the stag riders is that they are very blurry in the picture in the white dwarf so I did the best that I could but I don't think it's any better than current pics floating around. I also took a better pic of the possible eternal guard. The ones I've seen so far aren't very good.Gwill_of_the_Wood wrote:Hi, would you be able to get a better quality photo of the stag pic. ...Please

Re: Confirmed Rumors
Welcome! I kind of consider myself part of the Warhammer media, and it crosses over so well with what I'm passionate about - I can't help but jump right in with both feet :-)
Also, price lists now added.

Re: Confirmed Rumors
Yup, at the top of my initial post. List of prices for all the spoiled stuff, as featured in White Dwarf.

I wouldn't be surprised if those are in fact the asrai "spears" as the special character is holding something similargodswearhats wrote:Updated to include those axe-wielders.

Not sure anyone could mistake those for spears, not even GW :-)Drstrangelove wrote:I wouldn't be surprised if those are in fact the asrai "spears" as the special character is holding something similargodswearhats wrote:Updated to include those axe-wielders.

Re: Confirmed Rumors
??? Hawk dude has a pretty standard looking spear. Are you looking at the two axes guy, because a lot of speculation at the moment is that he's the champion for the axe guys.Drstrangelove wrote:I wouldn't be surprised if those are in fact the asrai "spears" as the special character is holding something similargodswearhats wrote:Updated to include those axe-wielders.
I don't see how those could be spears, they have no point at the end of the shaft, and a big choppy blade coming out the side, I'd call that an axe, or maybe a halberd.

They look very like the LoTR elven swords, only a bit meatier.

From Warseer:
Don't know if it's been mentioned but Eternal Guard are still going to be in the book according to the white dwarf interview regarding the rules for Araloth where Adam says "... Hold him in your battle line with Glade Guard or Eternal Guard"
Re: Confirmed Rumors
Interesting. Do you have a visual source to confirm?
Re: Confirmed Rumors
An imgur album with pictures of the wordings in question? What a crazy random happenstance! No idea how that got there...

It looks like Orion's going to be in the book too. Hope he gets a points reduction.Keldamyr wrote:An imgur album with pictures of the wordings in question? What a crazy random happenstance! No idea how that got there...

Was that ever really in doubt?greenman wrote: It looks like Orion's going to be in the book too. Hope he gets a points reduction.
Surely putting Araloth in a unit of eternal guard is a bit if a waste of his stubborn ability since they already have it?

Re: Confirmed Rumors
I am actually glad that they mentioned using Orion, I think they must have considered his use and adjusted him a bit. Well one can hope anyway.greenman wrote:It looks like Orion's going to be in the book too. Hope he gets a points reduction.Keldamyr wrote:An imgur album with pictures of the wordings in question? He was pictured on the artwork too, so I figured he'd be in it.
