Re: Answer to anti-spambot question?
Hi kadeton, I've had a look at the anti-spambot question, and it looks like it had not been set up to accept the correct answer! Apologies to your friend for that, but it should now be possible to answer the question correctly and register an account. If there are any more problems, drop me a PM and...

Re: TOW: First thoughts on new army-wide rules
Have you played yet? I did two games yesterday, one of which had a block of 15 EG, though I didn't have befuddle with them. Here's the problem I had: one attack at S3. You can go first all you want, but if you swing like a wet noodle while also being T3 with a 5+ save, it doesn't matter and didn't ...

Re: Wood elf old world rules preview
It's been quite some time since the site was active, although it's kept alive for posterity by the team at Druchii.net. Maybe the fine team of the Druchii counsel could be persuaded to update asrai.org to fit TOW? Although I do enjoy the "Style - Design - Green" banner thing  :...

Welcome to the Old World!
Greetings! Though Asrai.org has been dormant for some time, the forest may be beginning to awaken again. Warhammer: The Old World has now been released, and the forces of the Asrai gather once more. In light of this, we are hoping that wanderers both old and new will return to the forest and enliven...

Re: Old World
The site has been dormant for a long time but with the impending release of the Old World rules, it looks like quite a few people are starting to return to the forests. It would be great to see a revival of the site. I will look into what needs doing to tidy the site up, and we can see if more peopl...

Re: Wood elf old world rules preview
It's been quite some time since the site was active, although it's kept alive for posterity by the team at Druchii.net. It's possible TOW might bring people back (although the site address has changed, so that may confuse some). Perhaps there will be some uptake soon, when TOW is officially released...

Re: What the hell happened?
Hey Al, nice to see you again... Needless to say, the woods are pretty quiet these days. I'm not the best person to bring you up to speed with what's gone on and what's changed but the long and short of it is - the Warhammer world as we know it essentially blew up in spectacular fashion during the E...

Great job Cernunnos! I always enjoyed the Advent Challenges on DWP - trying to paint a figure in a single day is a different, refreshing kind of challenge

Re: And the forest shall lead you home
It is indeed sad to see the forest so quiet these days but as long as one person is still posting, the site is alive. The changes to the Warhammer World (and wider G.W. activity) have shaken the foundations of the whole gaming community, and we're still enduring the aftermath of that. There's a lot ...

There's a couple of good ones I've used in the past for yellow: http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2015/06/hobby-painting-glorious-yellow.html http://davetaylorminiatures.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/lamenters-update-painting-yellow.html I personally prefer Dave Taylor's method, but it sort of depends what en...

Re: Any more Asrai left in these woods?
Good to see there's still a few people around this ol' place :) I still check in occasionally, but I've been drifting to other games for a while now. AoS was the straw that broke the camel's back in some respects - I'd happily continue playing 8th, and I may give 9th a try, but I've no interest in A...

Re: Quiting Warhammer
It's always sad to see someone leave the hobby, for whatever reason. At the end of the day, you've got to make the decision that's best for you and if the game's no fun any more then you're probably making the right one. The one piece of advice I would give you, as Zanthorn said, is to keep hold of ...

Re: Eternity king and Waystalkers
UK seems pretty split, 50% Lords and Heroes is in now generally but some tournies allow End Times stuff, some don't. I've not seen an event with Khaine magic yet. Sheffield Slaughter last weekend allowed Khaine lists, so presumably also used Khaine magic rules as well. Interesting to note that Host...

Re: Khaine - where to start with building a list?
I would like to hear your experiences with using the new magic rules, I really think they suck and do not make for a fun game. Given that magic was already a big divider of opinion in the basic 8th Ed. rules anyway, any set of rules worthy of the name "End Times" is bound to do the same. ...

Re: Khaine - where to start with building a list?
I had my first End Times game on Tuesday, and was in the same boat as you. I just took all Wood Elves as a Host of the Eternity King, and found it worked wonderfully. Even without adding in any Dark or High Elf units/characters, just gaining Murderous and Martial Prowess full-time (instead of only i...

Re: petition to GW
Not sure there's much point in a petition like this. For a start, GW doesn't even have a CEO right now, so no-one will be changing anything in the direction of the company until such times as that changes. ~gwh But with attitudes like that, nothing will ever change. It costs nothing to put your nam...

Re: Board attachment quota
It usually refers to the number of attachments you're allowed in a single post. If you're trying to post images then most likely you're putting too many in one post. I can't remember exactly what the quota is set at, but try splitting the images over several posts.
