Now I've seen the Hobbit eagle tutorial, but I'm looking for a more old style to painting my great eagles, any help on colours?? Or can anyone point me in the direction of any tutorials they've come across?

Painting the horse is simple! Black undercoat, scorched brown base, drybrush Dark Flesh, agrax earthshade wash.. Done!! to add white details, just soem codex grey then bung on pure white..

Not forgetting that the Warscroll compendium can still be downloaded and used! You can still playing the Old World using these rules!

Don't forget though this is but one aspect, we still have The Wanderers Wood elf faction to come!

Well folks, looks like the Sylvaneth battletome should be hitting in a few weeks from now

Certainly a nice little host you have there, I see no real drawbacks..

The only thing I would say is that you might have to play defensively, with lots of counter attack and draw the enemy toward youu.

These are part of the Sylvaneth faction which means, treeman, dryads etc.... though since they've dropped treekin there was room in the list for something new..

Apparently the new Allariel model will not be riding the stag beatle, but floating above it like Nagash...

Nothing as yet re word of release dates but I promise as soon as I hear anything, I will post it here! Should be quite soon though,maybe a month or two I imagine!

Yeah,it's a good system, forget playing Wfb, the mechanics are totally different... there's so much more freedom in the lists to make very personalised themed armies.. even the warscroll compendium for traditional Wood Elves can still be used instead of the Grand alliance Order scrolls, or you can c...

The "thing" is Allariel in her war aspect apparently riding a giant Stag Beatle, looks like we may be getting this as a model!!!
