i think you need WAY more magic defence!! i'd quite like to see at least one Lv.2 spellsinger and a couple more dispel scrolls in there like Yak said you can drop the Lord's bowmen from the GG and you can probably drop the muso as well it might be a good idea taking your dryads down to units of 8 an...

i like the premise behind IHCW's idea but it seems just a little too complex to be bothered with when you just want to play a battle and shoot a few orcs! To be honest though i think i'm gonna have to agree with KidA and get rid of the rule. i dont usually bother with it when i play games (i usually...

In my example, I am fulfilling the rule laid out above, because I am stating clearly and explictly before I roll to hit where that Attack will be used. As far as I can see, it does not indicate that I must roll all of my attacks at the same time. Under the Characters section the wording is similari...

these models are amazing!! really love the conversion work, i especially like the paint scheme - the yellow is a bit garish (sp?) but it works!! the eyes do look a bit comedic though as a lot of people have mentioned already. looking forward to the behemoth though! how about taking a look at the ste...

Stone of the Crystal Mere, Annoyance of Netlings, Amber Pendant, great weapon, light armour - sits in eternal guard and dishes out loads of Str.6 attacks, always striking first, only hit on 6's in a challenge and has a 3+ ward save! and if all else fails he's still got 20 of his mates behind him to ...

well i usually field 2 units of scouts, 2 units of waywatchers AND a unit of glade riders! mega-marchblocking!! but that may be because i usually play against the same people so i know what to expect (i.e large blocks of infantry, supported by a big-killy unit of cavalry and a few characters) i use ...

a nice story overall although i do have a couple of questions: At his last words, Menteith gestured to Ersul and his waiting scouts. The female finally broke her gaze with Ersul and turned to speak directly with Menteith – except no words came out. She had frozen in a look what appeared to be recogn...

Part II -------------------- The next day, Sabin waited again to catch a glimpse of the mysterious elf maiden, Naieth. It was nearing dusk and she had still not appeared. As Sabin made to jump down from his vantage point, he spotted her drifting towards the forest edge. He jumped down to greet her, ...

To correct Beithir Seun, a Treeman does NOT have 360 degrees LoS, as it's classified as a Monster, and as such has a front, sides and rear. sorry should have thought about that for a bit longer...dont have BRB or WE book in front of me @ Deathjester: the FAQ actually says While the FAQ Council itse...

Re: S&S Strangeroot....From the rear?

So to a conclusion the Treeman can’t S&S. if you disagree with me plz reply and maybe I can explain it in a way you will understand. erm according to the Direwolf FAQ, there's no definitive answer as GW has neither confirmed or denied this...its open to the jury and also absence of evidence doe...

yeah, unlucky Eldacar! anyways.... i agree with Tethlis, that is how most people view the two systems in my experience. however, the majority of my playing group are long time 40k players and, having only recently converted, they've settled in quite well to the more strategic nature of Fantasy (alth...

im a bit dubious about the use of amber pendant on the wardancer noble...surely you'll be the one charging most of the time, and HB's high Initiative will be enough to ensure he goes first in subsequent rounds of CC your BSB may be a bit exposed but WD's may prove to be enough protection also it mig...

Asrai Story - Fool's Hope *Updated 12/02/08*

Sabin leant closer into the trunk of the gnarled willow tree at the edge of the forest. Through the late night’s hazy mist, he could just about glimpse the cairn outside of the border, marking the extremes of the wooded realm. From his vantage point in the tall boughs, the elf could see and hear for...
