well like i said my fave is SotCM - i usually put it on a HB combined with Amber Pendant as a sort of just-in-case measure...maybe im being a little too cautious with my highborn by using both but better safe than sorry!! i also use AoN just to annoy people... incidently i do put this HB in a unit o...

What is the 'best' talisman to give to a Highborn?

so as the topic says what, in your opinion, is the best talisman to give to a Highborn? my personal favourite is Stone of the Crystal Mere but i noticed that a lot of people, when commenting on army lists etc., prefer Amarinthine Brooch and Glamourweave and i'd be interested to know why, based on ex...

seems ok but a couple of things to pick up on. Firstly, a musician on the GR is pretty much essential if you're gonna be drawing out charges so i think you should find the points for this at least the second point: 5 is too few wardancers to be worthwhile - they'll by shot up/magicked in no time try...

this is a fairly similar setup to the one i've been using lately its a fairly solid list (again!) your two treemen are again gonna be your strongest holding units, giving you time to punch dryads, treekin, wardancers and GR in against anyone who charges your big guys! i think i actually like this li...

another good piece of the story however: it had not been able to sleep fitfully for several days sorry to do this again ;) but if im reading it right, fitfully is not the word you're after it means to be restless or irregular - basically nobody would want a fitful sleep as this would characterised b...

well there's certainly nothing preventing it although im a bit dubious about the usage of it (especially as you seem keen to use scouts as a meat shield... )

firstly, as has already been said, drop the GG down to 10 each and drop the muso as well - they're unnecessary unless you plan on getting into combat (which is a stupid idea with GG anyway...) i think the spellsingers work fine - it makes sense that they would be the first to protect the forest as t...

i agree with Yak - there's no point worrying about anything or trying to find ways of destroying the steam tank until we know about it its all well and good saying that the rumours are reliable etc. etc. but at the end of the day they're still rumours not actual facts so i dont see the point in worr...

these are both pretty solid lists for a first attempt! :) not much i can fault really, although neither has much shooting  you've got a reasonably strong magic defence, and the first list has a lot of hitting power with two treemen (the second is still ok though!) out of the two i'd probably ...

i like it so far although there are one or two point i've picked up on: She sighed forcefully. The rest of her Waywatchers were equally incensed. But they had to concentrate or risk failing their task; something that they – she in particular – would never be able to live up to. do you mean 'live dow...

i agree with Foxtale, BOL makes a useful addition to a shooty highborn IMO its quite useful for helping out WW in eliminating those hard-to-kill-super-killy-high-AS units...eg Saurus Cold One Riders, Dark Elf Cold One Knights, Grail Knights etc. etc. i find it really useful when combined with Arcane...
