firstly drop the GG down to either 10 or 12 and get rid of the standard and musician (+66/90 pts) drop the wardancers down to 8 (+18pts) i dont think HotH on your highborn is a good idea as, most of the time, the EG will not be charging and so it wont be of any use... also why 18 EG??? why not 19 so...

yeah, i tend to be able to write stories quite quickly once i get started but its the 'getting started' bit that takes the time especially when i'm trying to fit 'proper' work in as well!! :\

i always take GG anyway so i dont doubt their usefulness i think GG are an integral part of a lot of WE armies (including mine) but WR are also a valuable unit regardless of what else is included - the fast cavalry rule alone makes them worth taking (although GR are cheaper and only core choices) i'...

i would drop a couple of the GR to get a unit of 5
i'd also buy the GR a musician but don't bother getting musicians for anything else

with the points you gain by dropping the GR down, you can afford a unit of wardancers

i think a good point of reference would be classic chaos models one thing i thought of for the eagles/warhawks is to mould the bodies with 5th Ed. flamers of tzeentch, the ones that look beaked and nasty

also some sort of conversion transforming a treeman into a Lord of Change or something...

for shooting you can choose which to use, its only in CC that magic weapons must be used this has been discussed on this forum (i just can't find where!!)

out of the three, i'd pick the first option but this isnt my preferred choice i usually take HotH and SotCM or Glamourweave, whichever isn't being used by someone else (so usually Glamourweave) although i have used The Spear of Twilight when i feel like taking a risk with him..

like Nag said, i always take +1A on the charge regardless of what i'm fighting (the more armour saves you make them take, the more they're going to fail...) i've never used the killing blow ability, the 4+ ward save gets used if i get charged (which is quite rare) and i've never had the need to use ...

if you can, try and find points to fit Moonstone on your wardancer HB this item is SO useful for wardancers!!

also drop the shadow sentinel there's no point in having him

i'd also recommend either changing the alter noble for another spellsinger or dropping him completely and freeing up some points

They are the bodyguard, whether they are guarding a heroic champion or a coward is of no consequence. Their job is to guard him regardless of who he turns out to be, I don't think they would shame themselves to turning coward as well. this is a good point and by the letter of the rules i suppose it...

to be honest, if your leader just ran and hid in the back ranks, you're not exactly likely to be inspired by his presence so i'd have to say that they lose their stubborn ability although IHCW does have some very good points ruleswise i still think that this situation is another example of an oversi...

a few points about your revised list: * drop both units of dryads to 8 and drop the branchnymphs - they're totally pointless *drop the musician on the GG - again, totally pointless *drop WD down to 8 -they were fine in the first list ;) this gives you enough points to add two eternal guard to get th...
