Re: Need some opinions 2400 for tourney, 2500 for weekly
Well that is a very deeply hidden meandering path to find that rule (for those who are hunting like I was under Flaming Attacks magic weapons can't get flaming attacks, and under Enchanted Arrows made with them count as coming from magic weapons despite the fact they are considered an enchanted item...

Need some opinions 2400 for tourney, 2500 for weekly
So my local scene runs 2500 points on our weekly games, but the bigger tournaments near (within 2-3 hours) are running 2400 points. Because I want to practice with my normal list as much as possible I have this list in two forms to run. The first 2400; Spellweaver (Lvl 3 High) -Dispel Scroll -Obsidi...

Re: 2 Ridiculous units supported by the usual
The plan is to use WR in the first few turns to clear chaff, small ranged units, war machines, etc. while shooting and magic loosens up the big units/monsters. Then mid-late game WR mop up the left overs, try and avoid death stars until late so I can hold onto my potion strength to knock down some p...

Re: mounted or not
It depends entirely on your list/what lore you're running. For instance if you run death, you kind of need a pony to ride so you can get in range without being in charge arc. BSB is mounted if he is existing to add combat res and power to a Wild Rider unit, if the majority of your list is static (lo...

Re: 2 Ridiculous units supported by the usual
Thanks for the notice on the fast cav, I definitely want them to have that. Thinking about dropping talisman of endurance off of the Singer and putting obsidian Amulet because I really want that magic resistance. Other option is dropping Banner of Swiftness on the WR for Lichebone Pennant on the sis...

2 Ridiculous units supported by the usual
So this list runs around two units as the most important part of the list. The first being a very hard to kill sister unit with two characters, the second being a very hard hitting wild rider unit with yet another two characters in it. From their the rest of the army is fire support. Here is the act...

Re: Combat Monster Killer Lord
I think I'll go for keeping him on the eagle, he's faster and more maneuverable that way. I do like the idea of the portion and dragonbane gem though, I don't want to run ogre blade talisman of preservation because I know full well he's going to get gacked by any monster who gets to swing at him, he...

Combat Monster Killer Lord
So with the advent of 50% lords, the end times, etc. I have decided to try and build a lord that can smack some big nasty monsters in the face. So this is a highborn that should hopefully be able to get at a monster quickly, kick it in the teeth, and move on to the next one. Highborn -Spirit Sword -...

Re: Salaius' Snow Drow
The only change I would make is bringing the riders legs closer to the mount, and changing the staff's position so that the model will rank up better. Otherwise VERY cool looking model, hope it serves well.

Re: 2400 Tournament List set in stone, tips on play?
20-0, but with multiple opportunities to add to your score such as; -Hold the line: No enemy "scoring" units in your deployment zone (can be done with good movement and play on my part) -Line breaker: Have a scoring unit in you opponents deployment zone (My sisters laugh and move 18" ...

Re: 2400 Tournament List set in stone, tips on play?
If it's a net list than I didn't know about it. If you check my post history I really haven't been on much since the new book. I field what I like and what works for me, blaming someone for net listing is not really a fair judgement when you don't know what you're talking about. What I've heard abou...

2400 Tournament List set in stone, tips on play?
So this list is built for an upcoming tournament, I've set the list in stone by giving it to the TOs and now I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on play. I won't put how I usually play it just so that I get the best responses. Spellweaver (Shadow) -Level 3 (I messed up) -Talisman of Preservation -D...

TMA is going to drop in points, just look at what Durthu costs, compare that to a current TMA and tell me they will cost the same.

Re: Wood Elves rumours
It's easier to turn a metal sculpt into finecast than into plastic, that's probably why they didn't change it to plastic. I think the shadowdancer is likely to be lore of shadow, and our answer to lore master of hoeth.
