Re: Dryads (my new plan)
I´ve got an idea while I was taking a shower. What if we can use a spellweaver mounted in a unicorn, placed in a dryads unit. Dryads are a good place I think, you can move them, you can power them, and they got magic resistance since the unicorn has it too. I know dryads are not a powerful block, bu...

Re: Commonly Asked Questions
I want to make an add to the rule Frenzy and how affects to the mounts. It´s true, the mounts of WIldriders of kournous have the frenzy rule, but they do NOT benefits from the extra attack. I think it is an important think to clarify in the FAQ.

Re: Dryads (my new plan)
And what do you think about placing dryads in a forest (poisonous forest preferably), so they can attack with 3 ranks, reroll fail hits, poinsonous attacks, reroll 1 to wound. They won´t be steadfast, but the enemy neither.

Re: New Orion clarification: Close Combat
But I remember at the description of the spear, it says "this spear can be used like a shot as described below", so, what I understand, is that is S7 D3 wounds no armor save but it can be use dual mode, at close combat and shooting.

What do you think about the wood archers from The Hobbit? I think they are smaller, but maybe the difference is not so much.

Re: Wood Elves rumours
Not this forum I think. Some spanish and english ones. If you read the description of the ability, it says you replace your normal shooting by one special sniper shot. The thing, is, what happen when you combine multiple shots with sniper? Is it just only one shot, or it is still multiple shots?

Re: Wood Elves rumours
Thanks, I was hoping to use the BoL with a waywatcher noble to get 2 sniper shots with no armor save, but it seems there are a huge discussion about is process "multiple shots" and "sniper" rules.

Re: Wood Elves rumours
Furion confirmed the english version is per model. And the Razor Standard in the BRB gives AP for 45 points. 5 points per unit is a pipe dream. Well, he confirmed, but he doesn´t want to give any proof... he answer at Twitter but he can´t make a pic and upload it? again... no sense. Probably becaus...

Re: Wood Elves rumours
The arrow is -3 armor piercing. I think it is cost per unit. There is no sense to pay 17 point for a BS4 archer with -3 armor piercing, and in singular choice you have BS5 skirmish, explorer and arrows with no AS and cost 20 points...no sense. It's per model. Not unit. This was confirmed in the eng...

Re: Always Str 4 bows and Armor Piercing at short range
GUYS!! I´ve been watching my spanish forums, and there is a big polemic about the arrow cost. Some people say the cost is per unit, and other people say it´s per miniature. Spanish book says per unit, but it can be an errata (a mistake). Can anyone check the english book?

Re: Always Str 4 bows and Armor Piercing at short range
Now I think we have more powerful archers, but also more expensive. I think the new metagame would be to plant mushrom archer units in our deployment zone, dont move and shoot at long range.

Re: Always Str 4 bows and Armor Piercing at short range
I have got scan from the book. It´s S3 and armor piercing. We have NOT got anymore move and shoot. We can buy 6 arrows, 3 points to get poison, 5 point to do -3 Armor Save, and the rest 4 point per model (+1 to wound and flamming to order or chaos, multiple shots (2) and to have no penalties (such l...

Re: New Treekin vs Old Treekin
I run a combat oriented, no magic, MSU list using a combination of 3 man treekin units, wild riders and great weapon totting eagle noble. I use these units because they are S5+, the new treekin loss of S makes them redundent for me. S4 MI is fine if you can give them great weapons and thats how i s...
