Re: Strangleroot root rules
Don't forget the extra -1 for multiple shots, I wasn't too sure about strangleroots at first but then i saw the treeman is now bs6 so in my opinion it's well worth it for s5 and the 12" range

Re: Warpfire Dragon color scheme?
I'm not sure it's dheneb as it looks a bit too "boney" for that, not 100% on what's been used there. Sepia doesn't have that much yellow in it pretty confident it's the new gw yellow glaze

Re: Tater repaints his army (blog)
Looking good any army with Skarlocs archers in it is ok by me, the display board is great and protecting the corners with the picture frame is clever

I think you're right about the brown wash over the green, looks like the wings have also been washed with ogryn flesh and had a yellow glaze

Love it, love it, love it
I've also got Skarlocs archers and old wardancers in my army but they're not as well painted as yours, very well done indeed!

Nail varnish remover works well just make 100% sure thats its acetone free if you're stripping plastic models otherwise they'll melt!

I know what you mean about the pose, i think the problem is that the arm is positioned okay but the size of the axe head makes it look like unnatural position.
Really like your eternal guard, the red is particularly nice and makes me want to paint my unit
