Wood Elves shouldn't have much armour IMO, but it would be nice to have at least 1-2 decent sets of magical armour for heroes. It fits with the HE heritage I guess.

A true ward save is so much better then any armour in many situations.

There's a few opponents and a few builds Wood Elves definatly struggle against, mainly those found in super competetive plays ( high level tournaments etc ) but for casual play, Wood Elves can sometimes really do good. But it's a difficult army to play well!

I actually find my Wood Elves to be at their best at 1500 points. 2000 works as well but not as good as 1500. But that's probably because how I like to compose and play my army.
