You don't understand the MC rules? There is no rule anywhere that allows the ridden Eagle to die before the Sisters, either by shooting or combat.

According to your logic loop: Sisters die ---> therefore Eagle dies ---> because Mount dies ---> Sisters live = insanity.

It's not that hard. Andrew is right. Cavalry and MC share a profile, you target the model, not either component.

Quit trying to apply ridden Monster rules to the Eagle.

page 83 in BRB says MC uses all rules for cavalry. With the T and W stats exceptions. page 82 explains how cavalry works, and half the page explains how cavalry has a "Split profile", a rule MC uses. So when you say "There is no "split" profile for MC." you are wrong. ...

The Eagle can't be targeted. Simple. In combat you direct attacks at the Sisters (declare before you roll) vs T4 (from the Eagle). The TO will tell you if each Sister has 2 wounds (profile) or 3 wounds (MC profile). Shooting, RAW says do three wounds to the Eagle and everything dies. Some TO's are r...

They can both fire, seperate profiles for a single model allows it. There are units in a couple of other Armies that do and no one says anything. This isn't even an issue.

The co-joined destiny rule + Eagle is more complicated.

Well done. Thanks for the Reps. I actually ran a UniWeaver way back when in a 16.4 Swiss list right after the new book came out, deployed it a unit of 5 Sisters, behind 14 Wardancers + Glade Lord in a venom thicket and went 4-1. Worked just swell.....

Test it and get back to us! Looks fun. Cannons are the issue in this new meta of Herohammer methinks.

Normally BS shooting vs a mixed unit (say Orion and his Hounds), the owner decides how hits are allocated. However if there is a Lizardman AB rule, that will override it.

We all agreed after hashing out that the Protection counter prevents the unsaved multi-wound from activating as you all say. Buddy's a bit of a RAW guy and wants to make sure there's no surprises during a Tourney.
