Re: Orcs and Goblins up for sale!
I'll consider your words friend. I guess I keep thinking about how I feel I wont ever use that army again specifically. I kind of want them to go to a good home. But we will see

Still available FYI I'd sell the entire lot for 500$ with book and magic cards... shipping depending on area can be negotiated on.

Just so you know you don't have to "give it" to him they kind of just have it i think? IDK still reading and trying to make sense of these rules.

Re: "Age of Sigmar" speculations
From what I see besides space marines models is that everyone else is just putting what they have on round bases. It seems ridiculous but at least what we have no could and probably will be used in the new games.I think I can adapt to something like that. but still hoard armies (like undead) which a...

Re: Wildwood Ranger Horde
I'd say take 38 strong and two characters... Life magic for toughness or beasts for wyssans and another character doesn't really matter what but with magic resistance 3 amulet I think it could work just fine and the rest support the unit with arrow fire and maybe a unit of wild riders for flanking!

Re: Advanced Tactica: WoC
I guess this could work...You don't like having friends do you? jk jk This is a pure cheese list. but those characters on disks... yeah light will hurt them strength wise but they have ward saves up the bum and if one reaches the sisters.. probably game over. I don;t know what the lore of Tzeentch b...

Re: New comp game: Total War: Warhammer. FREAKIN AWESOME TRA
It was definitely the greater daemon on change. It's story wise one of the strongest and best at manipulating humans into his bidding. Also the teaser was very fun to watch and total war doesn't normally use magic and monsters so this could be pretty insane to see how they incorporate these aspects ...

Re: Cursed Dark Elves
My biggest issue here is 10 eternal guard really won't do anything... with stubborn they could hold up another close combat unit for a turn or two but wont do much back If you really want to use them even at a game this point cost at least bring 20? and put your mage in that unit. Use the dryads asa...

Re: Teaching game
Yeah for a learning game I'd suggest Lvl 2 BSB 10 glade guard 20 dryads 5 scouts and I guess a treeman no strangle roots. What ever left over points you have maybe more dryads in one block. you just want him to experience a simple game. no out maneuvering too much no overwhelming magic and simple sh...

Re: Ninth Edition - End Times for real?
If 9th turns out real bad and somehow (thought I doubt) armies are gone there is nothing to say you cant adapt your old army book into the new rules or just play the old rules? It's not so bad. My friends and I just pick and choose a few End times parts to add into our games and thats it. Like a spr...

Re: An old elf returns ... "New" army project
Great work love the color and love the cleanliness of the paint job very nice! And if things are too shiney it's already been said a matt varnish would work! just be careful to spray spray it far from the model too much and it can ruin things or has for me before.

I very much agree with bardah! thats a great idea and the 2 month thing is enough time I think for people to build/paint a mini with feeling like I have to get it done! while 3-4 months I start thinking Man I have plenty of time... OH NO WHERED THE TIME GO!

Re: Pann's Pelt and Monsterous Cavalry
This is the over thinking again guys heh. At least everyone I know would apply it to the Toughness that has been bestowed unto the riders from the mount because the model (which is the character) now just has a toughness of 4. I think in most tournaments it is the same.

If at all possible a sister of the thorn would be great in this sort of match up =P if you get to use spells at all. Either way her 4+ ward wold probably be worth it

Thanks froggy! It's come time to downsize basically. Already have my Woodies and my sizable undead force =P No way I'd ever get around to painting these poor guys so I want them to go to a good home!
