AMAZING! Omg, if I could paint with results like that, you'd have a hard time getting me to ever do anything else. And the idea itself is so cool - very original! I can't believe how talented the people on this site are.

One word: AUDIOBOOKS! Since I started listening to audiobooks, I can paint for hours on end because I'm so into the book. Good thing, since it takes me so long to paint my guys. I put on one of George R. R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire audiobooks, and I am good to go. I've got the Lord of the Rings...

Once I get a few done, I'll try taking some pics. It may be a while, though. I don't have much time to paint, especially with finals/project deadlines coming this week and next.

I painted my first one yesterday. It took FOREVER, but I am happy with it. For the cloak, I ended up doing a layering of browns, red, pink, and khaki that I am pretty happy with. Hopefully, I will improve upon it as I go. Anyway, my army is now officially started. Yay!

Thanks to both of you. We have some of the standard ones, but for the unusual formations, is there a tutorial anywhere on making them? I know you'd cut out a big rectangle to the measurements you want, but I've seen them with the little sides to keep units from falling off. How would one add those?

While admiring some of the great armies on here, I noticed that many have movement trays that I have not seen before - for instance, I saw one that holds 5 horses - I've only ever been able to find ones that hold 4. Yea, he plays Dark Elves and was doing a Slaneesh themed army at one point, but he decided he wasn't happy with his scheme and repainted all his models. That's the only way I even know of the existence of Slaneesh.
