Re: Any more Asrai left in these woods?

I like the idea. I've been lurking there for years anyway. Both have some really incredible artists.

Wild Riders Standard Bits

Does anyone have any extra wild rider standard bits? The one with the spear tip and antlers? I need 2 for a conversion. I'm happy to pay or trade.

The chaos slannesh lord has a rapier. Expensive for just the sword.

Looks great! I'd paint the base a little more and maybe use an intermediary highlight before the final highlight.

Re: Works in Progress: New Glade Lords on Stags

I was bored and made 3 Glade Lords on stags from left over bits that will probably end up on ebay. I used the Glade Lord on horse for 2 and converted the Glade Lord on great stag for the 3rd. I used the wild rider stags and bulked them up with some green stuff and added additional antlers. http://i1...

Re: Tricky Glade Lord Conversion Idea

It's going to be tough to get that level of detail, but I think you can get close. I'd take a look at the war dancers for the legs. I used them to create a unit of scouts http://asrai.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=27338 . The head looks like one of the heads from the glade guard. For the quiver and bo...

I'm with you. I find myself trying to rationalize it as they are buying time to do really cool Elven miniatures in an attempt to comfort myself.

I believe you have to pay for that part. There is a background book on the games-workshop site.

Re: Heads Exploding! Age of Sigmar Rules Released Online

I think I found this on Dakka. It seems to put some thought into points. I don't really play, I prefer the painting and converting side of the hobby, but it looks interesting.

I believe they are pretty close. I've used Harlequin legs and Wardancer torsos for conversions.

Amazing work! I love the color scheme. Hellebron on the Unicorn is pretty awesome too. Keep the updates coming!

Re: Heads Exploding! Age of Sigmar Rules Released Online

Anyone else blown away by the prices? $250 for the starter set. $280 for a plastic box with foam in it. $140 for 20 pots of paint. Seriously? I got into this hobby when my little brothers went out and bought the brets/lizards starter set with their saved up allowance. Good luck getting new players w...

Re: Heads Exploding! Age of Sigmar Rules Released Online

It's probably just them thinking their funny. When the dust settles they can update the pdfs to get rid of the nonsense. Rules changes and adjustments are going to be crazy fast now. I'm optimistic, but I'm still in shock they destroyed so much history.

Terrific banner! Love the free hand. Are you going to put a gem in the hole on araloth's head or leave it as is?

Re: Works in Progress: New Eagles and DE Sorceress

It's the old high elf queen "Alarielle" model. I used a dremel to remove much of the high elf ornamentation. Then I went back in with green stuff to smooth out any damage the dremel did to the dress. The head is from the dark elf sorceress on dragon, feet are Hellebron's, the hand is from ...

Re: Works in Progress: New Eagles and DE Sorceress

Thank you! I've been dying to start painting, but I've been stuck doing diy projects around the house. @dadadda - You're conversions are pretty slick as well. Seems like you like converting more than painting as well. @Aezeal - It's actually not as bad as you think. The bits places on ebay make it p...

Love your color choices, conversions and everything is very crisp. Not sure if it's the camera, but they appear too glossy to me. Nice work!
