Re: aos units
The Wanderers Keyword replaced Woodelves. Older metal models were made 'compendium' and no longer are legal for matched play. Everything is free on the webpage.

Re: What the hell happened?
Age of Sigmar is pretty awesome. The game plays like a skirmish game, and tactics are based on movement and formations. Turn order is randomized with a dice roll, so players can take two turns in a row. Magic is streamlined and the game doesn't contain any nuke spells anymore. Stats are hard and str...

Re: AoS 1000 point list!
Great success against Brets and Ogors, nearly tabled both!
Usually roll on special command abilities and relics. Neither have anything particularly great for woodelves i think.

AoS 1000 point list!
So i'm going to share my 1000 point list for pitched battles in Age of Sigmar. This is a pretty solid list, I've nearly tabled two different forces with it. 1x Glade Lord w/hail of doom arrow - 100 points 2x SpellWeavers - 200 points 20x Eternal Guard - 160 points 40x Glade Guard - 480 points 5x War...

Re: Sylvaneth cometh
Can you now understand both sides ? Yeah End Times was bad, and I can understand your stance on the new fluff and aesthetic. I'm not a fan of it either. It is a 'high fantasy' face-lift to try and bring in younger players, I prefer the more gritty 'sword and sorcery' aesthetic of the old world as w...

Re: Sylvaneth cometh
Exactly Cernunnos, no one is forcing you to play with the new fluff. Governor Trojanoak is still the duly elected representative of the Golden Glades, and the importance of his diplomatic missions will ALWAYS keep him and his entourage busy. I really disliked the 8th edition rules, mainly the magic ...

Re: Sylvaneth cometh
But I'm also still "disenfranchised". I'm willing to play 3rd to 8th Edition or the 9th Age - That's a nice Sylvan Elves Armybook Release for 9th Age by the way. So I'm not really picky. Age of Sigmar never got me excited at all from the aesthetic or narrative Aspect and won't with or wit...

Re: Sylvaneth cometh
I'm hoping that the points will bring back disenfranchised 8th players. This community needs a jump start. I still enjoy the narrative play though, points will always disappoint people obsessed with balance.

Re: Sylvaneth cometh
I liked the 'free-form' style but I'm glad that some structure will be added soon. The best part is that after a year of no points to kick things off, the community should be familiar enough with the concept so as not to be trapped in a single 'battle-line' style of play. It's the best of both world...

Re: 9th Age: Sylvan Elves
My favorite were always the 'Sisters of Twilight'. Hopefully they'll do something similar, that or players will pay for two generic heroes but only one eagle/dragon mount.
