Anybody else notice the Glade Lord on a Great Stag has Bravery 7 while every other Glade Lord has Bravery 8?
Intentional or typo?

Re: "Age of Sigmar" speculations
The removal of the rules that made fantasy so different from 40k will for me most likely be the end of my fantasy gaming. I will happily play 6-8th ed fantasy if any of my friends want to, but with the game now being skirmish there is almost no reason to play fantasy over 40k. I am really sad. The ...

Re: Unicorn/Stag bus - Fun
And I'm not all that confident in running msu units of archers. I don't want to take a magic missile or a round of shooting to the face and loose a unit or have them run

All the characters in one unit and go after something that it'll murder [emoji2]
I did originally have a beast and a high Mage with the unit. But thought as much beast magic as possible would be fun. But you're right. The stags DO need protection. But is a reason why I kept them cheap and with a 3+

Unicorn/Stag bus - Fun
Hi all After winning a doubles tournament with my mate (we ran a DE/WE HotEK army) I was inspired by my mate's use of a combat focused character bus. So I've written one up myself. Just quickly. And basic. I reckon not only would it be quite effective but also fun. My gaming area isn't terribly comp...

Re: 2500 Wood Elf vs. Dark Elf
I like what you're trying to do where with this list. First, I'd say split the Wild Riders into 3 units of at least 5. Banner of eternal flame does not work with magical arrows (TFA) I'm not sure what you want to do with the Banner of the Eternal Queen - I'd say drop it Put your Highweaver on a unic...

Re: Light Council Tactics
What would use to support the light council?
I'd suggest
3 units of Wild Riders
Sistersx8 FOC w/ lichebone
Block of Eternal Guard
Couple of Treemen perhaps?
Thoughts?

Re: What We Would Change Revisited
I know I just would have liked to have some sort of special cloak or something, similar to Sea Dragon Cloak (DE) or White Lion Cloak (HE) just to make our Lords more effective. Something like Oaken Armour (5+ scaly skin) or Athel Loren Cloak (additional -1 to hit in cc and shooting modifier) Just br...

Re: Eternal guards, how many?
So a good block of say 28-35, fill rest of core with GR
Have hbScouts and WR as special support
Treemen and/or WW in rare
Weaver for lord
Shadowdancer in EG

Re: Naestra and Arahan
Now how does everyone choose to field the model? Do most of you buy the metal gw model or convert using HE dragon and other bits? I want to begin fielding the twins but not sure how I should go about them model wise. Do we think a new model will come out in the next 12 months? ~with all this End Tim...

Re: Eternal guards, how many?
How does everyone build a list around EG?
As a shooty, avoidance army I feel it's easier to fill core with GG and GR and throw in WR, SotT and WW than to have a still block of core.
So my question is, how does one build around a Eternal Guard list?

Great write up!
I look forward to playing my friend's DE now~~I have a similar army list (minus the Sisters)
Do you believe they were/are a critical choice?

Re: Friendly Dark Elves Match
He's a very 'push it forward' type player so I expect him to rush everything into combat
As for shooting, yes the hydra and warlocks will be first to go.
Might try and get my wild riders in early to mop up the mess

Friendly Dark Elves Match
Hi all My mate has just started up a new Dark Elf army and he is eager to try what he has against my WElves. I thought I'd share the list I'm running and what he will likely play with. 1500pts Treeman Ancient: Level 4 Wizard 360 14 Glade Guard: trueflight arrows 210 14 Glade Guard: hagbane tips 210 ...

Re: Wildwood Rangers
I think a unit of 25 w/ armour piercing banner w/ Araloth could be nice. A big points sink for something not too mobile. But if played right, could be used to entice your opponent to come at you. Say, run fast cav everywhere else so that unit is really the only viable option. Then hammer with Wild ...

Re: Treeman vs Cannon
Drop the sisters and the weaver.
Take Warhawks to go warmachine hunting
And take a Lvl4 Highweaver on a unicorn and run her inform of the treemen. Get some spells off to gain counters and those cannons won't be a thing.
With Treemen, one is no good, two is alright, THREE ARE BETTER

I totally agree. Would have been great to have the option to use magic arrows with the BoL.
Would have been even better to get another bow that's utterly hard hitting... Like Alith Anar's bow. Now how Woody is that!?

Re: Ninth Edition - End Times for real?
This is silly. 9th will not kill warhammer. If it did, it would make the end times books unplayable a few months after they came out. End Times V comes out march, then all the models and rules for it are dead by summer? I'm still reading Nagash. That means that, before I can finish reading all the ...
