Re: New level of wraithstar
Too late for me to look it up now but I think it wouldn't be allowed due to you not having a complete front rank but then having a complete second rank of the same unit type. Your second rank according to the game mechanics would actually be larger. If it was allowed you could have things like the ...

New level of wraithstar
Is it legal for me to put 4 branch wraiths in the front rank then 5 wide EG afterwards? Since 4X25=100mm just like 5X20=100mm. Am I on to something or am I just a wishful thinking noob?

Re: Best 3/worst 3 units
Best: 1. Wild riders What can I say, I'm in love. 2. Way watchers This unit on its own will change the meta. I would sacrifice 356 chickens, 14 cows, 8 goats, 26 sheep, 47 geese and 2 humans to GW for BS5 no AS shots. Instead I just pay 10ss per model. 3. Sisters of the thorn/scouts Scouts are amazi...

Re: Wood Elves Monstrous Cav Unit!
 I played in a tournament against a greenskins army, and he had a 10x10 night goblin block with his front row being nothing but goblin heroes. It was not fun hitting the front of that unit, was very effective. But I don't think we could afford to do a front row of captains, just way to many poi...

Re: Spellweavers and the book of asur
Fluff wise the slann are miles beyond what elves could ever dream of. The elves just have the advantage of being AWAKE.

Hmm, the Asur never leave home without the Book of Hoeth, the Druchii love their Tome of Furion. We now have one that suits us very nicely. Time to start an Elf book club (that means we club each other with books).

Re: 2x10 Waywatchers a necessity?
I like 2X6 : Two seperate units so I can shot at different targets if need be Math is easier with even numbers Enough of them to deal with most skirmisher/fast cav in CC Small enough to not overcrowd my mandatory forest if I decide to castle Cheap (60ss), do they can be used as redirectors in a pinc...

Re: Sisters of the Thorn Alternatives
Is it possible to assemble the sisters without the antlers? So they could instead be riding does instead of stag. Could look nice in opposition to the wild riders.

Treeman base size
Just bought a treeman, and since I've seen the question pop up several times, I thought I'd just put the info out there. The treeman comes with a MC base, same as demigryph knights ( as I speculated )

Re: I destroyed WoC or How I learned to love the new WE book
Congrats on the win! I really like like your list but weren't your 2 lvl4 a little starved? Or did they just contribute for the first couple of turns? What spells did you get? How does death+high work out? Any notable combos? How did you survive caco\acquienscence? Wow, you just got me really exited...

Re: Wild Riders VS Wildwood Rangers
Agreed haha I wouldn't have put her in the unit. I think a dark spellweaver was made for a sisters unit. The +1 str for the javelins, and if you roll 3 extra powerdice you can heal her back up with shield of thorns. Or on a unicorn, for S7 on the charge :D and the MR2 would, on top of the usual 4++...

Re: BSB, what to do with it?
It's a shame they can't ride unicorns for that tasty M10 and MR2.
I kit mine with just the HoDA and leave him in the back with my glade guard, although I'm really starting to consider putting him on a stag.

Re: Treeman Ancient
I think with the ancient it's lvl 4 or nothing. Lvl 2 life doesn't cut it because of the lack of spell selection. At that point you might as well take a regular treeman(less survivable, but cheaper and better in combat). Being someone who has often been on the receiving end of dwellers, I cannot say...

Re: Shadowdancers, the hidden gem
Personally, I just love the idea of giving him the potion of strength, dance the +1A for 5A S7 WS8 I8 ASF attacks. If he survives that round, follow up with the 3++. For 60ss that is pretty good IMHO.
