Re: Last Minute List Tweaks
Oh, that makes more sense then. Would it be worth it to play lore of death my first time in a tournament? I don't want to lose to me misplaying the lore, could you give me some tips on what I'm looking to do with it? With those minor changes I'm looking at: Lords 570 Level 4 Death, General, Steed, T...

Re: Last Minute List Tweaks
I felt like I was overcommiting to magic phase so I
Added 3 warhawk riders
2 extra ww
And changed the level 4 high to a level 2 with a scroll
I added a talisman to the lvl 4 and put a power stone on the
Level 4
Cheers,
Sylk

Re: Last Minute List Tweaks
Alright thank you!
So if I change all the units to true flight that frees up some points,
you think I should go with a scroll of power on wizard?
Ill have to cut the obsidian amulet.
Cheers

Re: Tournament List 2400 Points
If it were me I'd drop the close combat kit on the bsb and get the hail of doom, add MR 1 to the lvl 2 and drop the opal amulet (with the scroll thats 40 points) and add the standard of discipline to the sisters of the thorn. I'd also take some time to read this, http://www.ulthuan.net/forum/viewto...

Re: Tournament List 2400 Points
Ahh my bad I didnt see that, and yes my BSB is joining a WR unitNerd wrote:You can't have 2 dispel scrolls unless your tournament has such an allowance. Also, unless your BSB is intending to join the Wild Rider units, I feel the Helm can be dropped for points elsewhere.

Re: Tournament List 2400 Points
Personally I'd try to find points for another eagle, never been sad I brought two. I've been running a lvl 2 metal with some success, but after seeing heavens in action I think it might be the better option. Alright what do you think about Lords 310 Spellweaver lvl 4 shadow Dispel Scroll, Talisman ...

Re: Zero Success
The list is not that bad and Ogres are not a bad match-up. Forest spirits have a place in some lists. That said, I'm not sure this is one of them. This may sound obvious but just don't hold vs any Ogre charge with anything you want to survive Sylk. The guys have made some good suggestions. How did ...

Re: First attempt at a list
Hey im still fairly new to lists and such, but I have researched a lot!
I would break up the GG into blocks of 10 (if possible) to be able to snipe down chaff and not have to devote an entire block to a block of cavalry.
Thats basically all I am qualified enough to say xD

Re: WWR deathstar block?
Very effective is on overstatement. BUT I do actually play this alot, with truflight Glade Guard behind them. Beasts and Heaves works well on them as well. My particular one is 21 7 wide to maximize attacks vs 5 wide units. But, they don't stand up well to full blown combat units. The other element...
