Re: Fast Cav Rule clarification
Yes, after movement they need to be positioned in the right direction (front arc) for firing too I think. In my game my opponent wanted my skirmishers (waywatchers) to do wheels etc when marching.. which like halved my movement... also he didn't want to let me move backwards. PS this is why the +1 p...

Re: Fast Cav Rule clarification
Excellent, Thank you Gentlemen for the clarification - I had thought as much. And of course I wouldn't have gone through a building! Haha, but yes, point taken. Aezeal, skirmishers can move like that as well? I thought so, the same argument occurred when I was freely moving my skirmishers around. On...

Fast Cav Rule clarification
Hello Cousins, I just had a quick question regarding fast cav and their movement. My opponent and I disagreed on how fast cav can move. I was, and still am, under the impression that fast cav essentially have the liberty to wheel, reform and move as they please, as long as they don't exceed their mo...

Re: *Spoilers* Opinion on the future of the Wood Elves
I couldn't agree with you more, Kakapo42. To add to what you were saying, I also perceive Warhammer as a pseudo board game.. where you purchase a game, with a set or rules, die (depending) cards, board etc. You then use these rules, and the same pieces, regardless of what year or edition it might be...

Re: Seeking the wisdom of the elders, to fight WoC
Thank you for the replies gentleman. Well then, I'll have to double check is ward save then. Mayhaps it was 5++ and I was too astounded by his wounding regen that it didn't seem like I did anything, we'll see. Thank you blackcat, I did indeed look at metal and light and they look pretty appealing. I...

Re: Seeking the wisdom of the elders, to fight WoC
Indeed! I've been looking around in the meantime and noticed a few good posts. I'm also not familar with the new end times what not, rules. 50% lord allocation, something he used to his advantage, can easily swing the course of the battle. The more I'm reading the more I am remembering and realize h...

Seeking the wisdom of the elders, to fight WoC
Hello Asrai, Been some time since I've posted last/played a game of warhammer. Thus, I am a bit rusty. Yesterday however I played a game against my good friend and most played against opponent, WoC. We played a 1,500 pt game. He brought: A daemon prince equipped up the wazoo. (2+, 3++, regen on a 3+...

1500 pts List.
Hey Guys, what do you think of this 1500 pt list I compiled. I made it mainly in terms of what I would like to field/models I like. Of course, it may not be the most competitive of lists but would like to know your thoughts, and possibly slight modifications to the list. I know many on the forum bel...

Re: 1000 pts vs WoC
Thanks for the reply! Yeah... I could have deployed a few more models for the price of a level 3. Although, I enjoyed it none the less because I didn't have a caster last game and wanted to have some fun in the magic phase! Likely not a super competitive list.
As for WR... They are awesome.

1000 pts vs WoC
Hello All, A few days ago I played against my common opponent, WoC. We are still both fairly new to the playing aspect of the hobby, as you may have seen my last bat rep, so keep that in mind when reading through. Although feel free to point out mistakes so that we can learn and get better! Now, on ...

Suggestions on rescueing my long lost GG
Hey guys, I have a bit of a dilemma, several years ago when I was about 14 I bought my first ever GG box. I assembled and painted them and what have you. At the time I thought I wasn't half bad at painting, even proud. Now, I'm thinking I was rather delusional. Compared to the rest of my painted arm...

Re: Hobbit wood elf rangers
Those look awesome Siege. What did you use to elevate them besides bits from the Citadel Wood, cork? Also, are those left overs from the wood? I'm considering buying a wood myself but am hesitant on sacrificing the look of the trees for awesome fillers.
Cheers,
Cheers,

Hi guys, Thanks for the replies and clarification regarding the fleeing rule. @Laureku regarding your concerns. Quick 500 pt vs WoC (First in years/Rookie)
Greetings fellow Asrai, I played a quick and friendly 500 pt game with a friend of mine last night. Both of us have very few games under our belt - those only being the ones against each other. We've been collecting for a while but seem to have trouble coordinating a slot that fits our schedules bes...

Re: Enchanted Arrows may be used more than once
I don't see how this is still an issue but I'd like to add another point, not sure if this has been said already but I'm on my phone, but I digress. A glade captain, for example, has a magic items allowance of 50pts, of which can only be taken once and from the magic section if the WE army etc etc. ...

Re: 2500pts WE vs WoC netlist
There has been much debate whether or not one can use multiples of the enchanted arrows. I believe the general consensus was that you can, however.Masternecrotect wrote:Hello great report. The only thing I noticed was you doubled up on hag bane tips but it says they are enchanted items so you can not double up on them.

Re: 2500pts WE vs WoC netlist
Nice report and well played! I also really enjoy your list, as I was really considering something similar. Nice Bat reps man! Quick question, that may be a tad irrelevant to this thread in particular, but I liked your painting scheme as well as your WHR and was wondering if you'd be able to post, or maybe PM me what paints you used for your army / what conversions you for the WHR, from what I can tell yo...

Where did you acquire those eagles by the way? They look great and seem to be in different poses than those GW offers. -Tal The eagles are from gamezone . Re: New Warhawk Riders
Cheers, thanks GWH. At first I was hoping that it would be nearly identical to Hit and Run. Akaba's tactica really peaked my interest to the rule and the WHR. Being able to charge a flank, rinse, repeat each round. But that is a thing of that past as it seems. Time to look ahead! On a different note...

Re: New Warhawk Riders
No more Hit and Run, but then that rule is pretty much auto include in the Fast Cavalry rule. They are Flying Cavalry. What do you mean by this? The Hit and Run rule allowed WHR to retreat from combat, thus allowing them to charge back in? I'm not too familiar with the rules at the moment, but I wa...
